Data deletion instructions
1. Delete your account and data
Email [email protected] from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. If you manage more than one business, tell us which workspace to delete. We confirm the request by email and may ask you to verify that you own the account.
2. What we delete
- Scheduled posts are cancelled immediately, and automations such as comment replies stop.
- Your workspace is deleted from our active systems within 30 days: business profile, campaigns, posts, media, leads, auto-reply rules, tracked links and analytics.
- Your connections to social accounts are removed, and our access to them ends.
- Your sign-in details are deleted.
- Copies in backups are removed as those backups expire.
- We keep payment records only as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Deletion cannot be undone. Export your leads as CSV from the Leads page first if you want to keep them.
3. Disconnect a single social account
To stop SocialNow from using one account without deleting everything, open Connections in the web app or the Android app and choose Disconnect for that account.
4. Remove our access from Facebook and Instagram
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → find SocialNow → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → find SocialNow → Remove.
After you remove access, you can ask us to delete the data we received from Meta by emailing [email protected]. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
5. Remove our access from Google
Visit your Google account permissions, select SocialNow and choose remove access. This also covers a connected YouTube channel.
6. If a business contacted you through SocialNow
If you shared your details with a business that uses SocialNow, ask that business to delete them. You can also email [email protected] with the business name and your username, and we will help.
